Orange Blossom (Citrus sinensis flower)

A fragrant, delicate, white flower that grows on a bitter orange tree, a close cousin of sweet orange and lemon trees. Bitter orange, also called wild orange is a smaller variety of commonly known orange fruit.

The flower grows on the branches of the tree during springs and from it, the small bitter orange grows in later parts of the year. Orange blossom is commonly used in the perfume industry because of its incredibly amazing smell, but it also has beneficial properties that are used in skin and hair care. Mostly in a form of orange water, but the ingredient can be infused in its purest form into hair care products, and that's exactly what we did with our Orange Blossom line.

Orange Blossom helps condition your hair and makes it lustrous and strong. It adds shine to your strands and provides you with an amazing fragrance that is refreshing and lightweight. It is native to China and India, and before making it to Spain in the 9th century it was all the rage in Arabia. Today a southern part of France is renowned for top-quality Orange Blossom flowers, but it is mostly cultivated in Morocco and Tunisia. Fun fact: The harvesting of this delicate flower is done at dawn because the flower is most fragrant at that time.
